The Red Bus Weddings
We got our first Red Bus in 2007 because we knew it would bring something really special to your wedding day.
Our buses are more than just transport; they're a legal mood enhancer.
Each wedding or civil ceremony brings unique transport needs. When you hire The Red Bus, we take care to listen to your ideas.
Pre-ceremony, you might want us to arrive at your front door to take the bride or groom to the venue or church. Or a special trip just for father and bride. Or we roll up outside your friends' hotel and surprise them.
Post-ceremony, do you want your guests taken on a special tour while you get some time alone for your photos? Or a trip for everyone round Arthur's Seat stopping at Salisbury Crags for a toast? Or how about handing our mic to the best man/woman for a speech on the move?!
After that, it's ding ding and off to the reception...
Capacity
We have three buses and each bus can transport 64 passengers.
Location
We serve Edinburgh and most areas within about 30 miles.
On the day
The bus will arrive with fresh flowers and ribbons on both decks, uniformed driver and conductor with original ticket machine. And your own personal destination blind, yours to keep.
On board
We can serve drinks/refreshments en route. Please let us know when booking.
Tickets please
As well as the original London Transport tickets that come off the Gibson machine, conductors can also hand out (as an optional extra) personalised tickets to guests.
